“Moe” is a comedy-documentary hybrid exploring the themes of friendship, self-acceptance, and the migrant diaspora. Our titular character, Moe, brings a feel-good story to the screen when he confronts something he’s struggled with since childhood. His story gently touches on the reality of the immigrant experience and creates a segue into an interview with filmmaker Guillermo Barahona and his parents, where they discuss leaving El Salvador and creating a life in the United States.
