Three vignettes across three generations of japanese americans explore the intersections of incarceration, ableism and anti-Asian racism from the perspectives of a first-generation Issei woman at Angel Island Immigration Station, a second-generation Nisei woman incarcerated at Amache “War Relocation Center” and a fourth-generation Yonsei’s process of autism diagnosis.
