“Art of Work” is a compelling exploration of self-discovery, cultural identity, and healing through Hip Hop dance and film. Renowned choreographer Patrick Cruz partnered with Allyson Tintiangco-Cubales to create a transformative mentorship process that delves into the intersections of dance, Hip Hop, Ethnic Studies, Filipina/x/o identities, colonial trauma, somatic healing, and the profound impact of work and labor. This project transcends the boundaries of traditional dance films by turning choreographers and dancers into historians and storytellers.
