The film follows Moni as she navigates her daily routine and sobriety journey. As the film progresses, Moni and her three kids start to reconnect through shared activities like going to the beach, playing in the snow, and preparing for school together. Simple, loving moments like hugging and kissing before bedtime show the growing bond between Moni and her children. Moni also engages in a heartfelt bedtime talk with her kids, saying, “I love you.” Moni visits her father’s grave, confronting the trauma of his death, acknowledging its influence on her addiction and recovery. She brings all her sobriety chips to mark her one-year anniversary of being sober. The climax of the film occurs when she finally regains custody of her kids. She reflects on her journey and the role her past played in shaping it. The film concludes with a scene of the family spending time together at the park and celebrating their reunion.
