Memoria

Mori, a teenager living under the strict expectations of their devout Catholic mother, begins to unravel their sense of self through a series of fragmented memories and inner reflections. Mori is drawn into a symbolic journey that explores the layered and nonlinear process of understanding their transmasculine identity. The film weaves together past and present to show how identity is shaped by accumulated experiences and is culminated in a moment of quiet clarity as Mori sees an idealized reflection of who they truly are.
