Anushka and Maika are a queer couple nervously preparing lunch for Anushka’s conservative mother to visit their apartment. Her mom has serious doubts about their relationship. Anushka is worried about the food she’s cooking and what she’s wearing as the both of them frantically try to make the apartment look ‘appropriate’ before lunch. As lunch approaches, Anushka’s mom calls her to let her know she is not coming over anymore. Maika comforts Anushka, and they share a bittersweet, loving moment as they eat the food Anushka prepared.
