MANZANAR, DIVERTED A/R

The Manzanar, Diverted Augmented Reality gives viewers the chance to experience the breathtaking beauty of Payahüünadü, “the land of flowing water,” also known as the Owens Valley, where the Manzanar concentration camp was situated in a 360 degree environment, using VR headsets.  This project was created as a companion piece to the feature documentary Manzanar, Diverted: When Water Becomes Dust, which opened the 2021 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.
