Join us for a virtual fireside chat with Richard Lui, MSNBC News Anchor and the director of SKY BLOSSOM: DIARIES OF THE NEXT GREATEST GENERATION. Hosted by Tamlyn Tomita.

Richard Lui is an award-winning journalist, currently an anchor at MSNBC and NBC News. Lui became the first Asian American male in America to anchor a daily national cable network news program in 2007. Richard is also an AARP Caregiving Champion, Alzheimer’s Association Celebrity Champion, and BrightFocus Foundation Ambassador.

Tamlyn Tomita has been acting since 1985 and is a supporter and fan of stories being told whether they’re on the stage or screens big, small, or handheld. Her film credits include THE KARATE KID 2,THE JOY LUCK CLUB, PICTURE BRIDE, and THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW. Her TV credits include STAR TREK: PICARD, THE GOOD DOCTOR, THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE, BERLIN STATION, and TEEN WOLF. A native Lakers/Dodgers/Rams Los Angeleno, specifically from the Valley (818!) and a proud AAPI, embracing her Okinawan, Japanese, and Filipina heritages and what it means to be American in the land of the free, she continues to advocate for stories to be told from a “golden” perspective.  And most importantly, she is a proud and loyal UCLA Bruin.
