Yeona, a Korean immigrant residing in Queens, New York, lives with a severely scarred face. She seeks plastic surgery at a Korean black market hospital and is urged to change her face beyond recognition. Yeona is ultimately forced to question what can and cannot be repaired by going under the knife.
