A young girl awakens to reclaim her ancestral inheritance from Maharlika. A descendant of balyana (priestesses) – believed to have been fed to the crocodiles by Spanish colonizers who feared their unmatched prowess – she re-emerges from the shadows to lead her people into the reckoning for collective liberation.
