Directed by Harshith S. KotniCast: Deepakka Mahadevan, Kranthi Bayya, Meghana Kumar
Oviya (16) is completely devoted to Bharatanatyam dance and feels she is ready to do her Arangatram (Indian dance recital). An Arangatram is equivalent to someone earning their black belt and is a pivotal moment in a dancer’s career. Uma (42), Oviya’s guru (instructor), doesn’t think Oviya is ready to do her Arangatram because she lacks Bhakti. In order for her to gain Bhakti, she must go past devotion and find what she is truly grateful for. Oviya discovers the deep love her mother, Shanti (53), has for her, inspiring her to give one of her most powerful performances yet.
