Can I Borrow a Feeling?

Filmmakers in attendance. Film program will be followed by Q&A.

As long as we’ve been telling stories, tales of longing have been part of the human ethos. They are no stranger to any medium, let alone cinema. Plots and characters change, but the sentiment is always the same and always relevant. Yet, just as in life, longing is never the end of the story. Comfort, connection, or a revelation emerge in unexpected ways—through new companions, within our families and friends, the language we share, or even a new hairdo.
