C3:CONVERSE | Crafting Our Story: A Fireside Chat with the Post Production Team of The Brothers Sun

  • 60 mins

“The Brothers Sun is a 2024 Netflix Action Comedy series starring Michelle Yeoh, Justin Chien, Sam Song Li and Highdee Kuan. It is also a landmark series for Asian representation. Not only did the series feature an All-Asian lead cast, but behind the scenes there was a strong representation of creatives of Asian-descent crafting the show from top to bottom.

In conjunction with the Motion Picture Editors Guild and the Pan Pacific Asian Steering Committee, C3’s “Crafting Our Story” panel features the invisible artists in post production who shape the final draft of every episode through picture editing, dialogue editing, assistant editing and music composition. Moderated by Maysie Hoy, the panel will cover the importance of having representation not only in front of, but behind the camera as seen through our panelists’ collaborative experiences of making The Brothers Sun.”
