When polar opposite sisters reunite for their grandparents’ wedding anniversary, Nur is in charge of the dinner, but all eyes seem to fixate on Karina, despite Nur’s best efforts to conform to her family’s expectations. In the middle of numpeng (a dinner ritual) Karina starts itching and blames Nur for putting garlic in her food. Their grandmother, the matriarch of the family, stokes the tensions, sending them soaring past the boiling point. The skeletons lingering in the closet join the family at the dinner table as the two sisters grapple for the affections of their grandmother, and their mother does her best to diffuse the volatile situation.
