Rea Tajiri an award-winning interdisciplinary artist and educator who creates installation, documentary and experimental films. Her new work, WISDOM GONE WILD, is a personal documentary following Rea’s sixteen year caregiving journey into dementia for her mother Rose Noda. Tajiri a Sansei who grew up in Rogers Park, Chicago and Van Nuys, California, leads the audience through an exploration of aging and mortality. The film is heartfelt and holds you with warmth, and tender humor.
