Marking 3 years since the pandemic began, we look to our storytellers to model pathways to healing and community building. KAPWA TEXAS follows three young Filipino women as they engage in much needed courageous conversations with their family – informed by the current political and social climate Directed PJ Raval, a queer, first generation US born Filipino American and award‐winning filmmaker, KAPWA TEXAS is a time capsule during turbulent times, that captures the unbreakable bond between Filipino family and community.

Pandemic Bread is a short dramatic film about a Filipino interpreter taking an end-of-life call with a doctor and an elderly woman diagnosed with COVID in her quarantined hospital room. This is a story of resilience, agency, and hope told through the eyes of the interpreter who bakes bread during the call.
