The film industry has a notorious reputation for being a very demanding work environment, with long hours, tight deadlines, and a culture of overworking. Unfortunately, these harmful practices often lead to high levels of stress and burnout. As we deepen our understanding of wellness and joy at this year’s festival, it’s important to address these issues and explore ways to build a more sustainable future for ourselves, while still meeting the demands of the job.
