SONG OF SIBERIA

Directed by Bryan Takeda

Filmmakers in attendance. Film program will be followed by Q&A

The history of Japanese Americans is as diverse as the community itself. Following their surrender at the end of World War II, over 500,000 Japanese were forcibly captured and sent to Soviet labor camps called Gulags. SONG OF SIBERIA is a story of survival, and of one post-war immigrant and his will to live.
