A group of Chinese-American family friends, forever relegated to the kids table, confront eachother on approaches to Asian identity via food, love, gossip. Episodes take place over Thanksgiving, Christmas, a birthday, and Chinese New Year, all leading up to the event of the season–the wedding of one of their own.
