Winner of the LA Muse Award at the Los Angeles Film Festival, this intimate feature follows Luke and Peggy, an average Taiwanese American millennial couple, ordering take out, getting #lit, and having sex. When Luke discovers a photo of Peggy’s ex on her phone, they start to question territories of their relationship that were once uncharted.

Tanuj Chopra (CHEE & T, NICE GIRLS CREW, GRIN, GRASS) is back at LAAPFF with his latest and most intimate work. Winner of the LA Muse Award at the LA Film Festival, STAYCATION follows Luke and Peggy, an average Taiwanese-American millennial couple, ordering take out, getting #lit, and having sex. When Luke discovers a photo of Peggy’s ex on her phone, they start to question territories of their relationship that were once uncharted.

Starring Anthony Ma and Grace Su, these two leads prove their star power on screen, balancing a tightrope of affection, misunderstandings, constipation, and humor. Chopra forces us to look inwards at our own relationships in his latest feature, making us question the nuances and secrets we hold with those who mean the most to us. Set against the backdrop of Downtown Los Angeles and Little Tokyo, we’re excited to welcome STAYCATION back home. —Trent Nakamura
