Journey to Angel Island, the “Ellis Island of the West.” Immigrants detained here after the passage of the Chinese Exclusion Act carved poems into the walls, forever etching their voices at what is now a national historic landmark. Beautiful animations are layered with historical images and 360-degree footage of the island, bringing the poems and memories of those detained to life.
